Terry Wallace

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Terry Lee Wallace, 64, born May 23,1955 in Charleston, South Carolina, a resident of Slidell, Louisiana for 39 years.

Terry graduated from Forest High School, Jacksonville, Florida. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force. After completion of military service he began his career with the Federal Aviation Administration. Terry retired from the FAA after 32 years as a Senior Air Traffic Controller with numerous awards and commendations.

Terry is survived by his wife, Diane (Dorsa) Wallace; daughters, Jamie Wallace of  Slidell, Kelly Wallace (Jody) Morris of Slidell; mother-in-law, Nancy Dorsa;  stepsons, Jason Shields, Matthew (Megan) Shields, and Eric (Irene) Shields, stepdaughter, Nancy Shields (Michael) Eunice; brother, David (Michele) Wallace; sister, Wendy Wallace; six grandchildren, Jody Jr., Noah, Cooper, John, Hannah, and Evelyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Terry is proceeded in death by his parents, Frank Wallace, Sr. and Beverly L. Wallace; brothers, Frank Wallace, Jr., Russell Wallace, and Steven Wallace; and nephew, Coleman Wallace.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 6, 2019, at 10:30AM, at Northshore Church, 310 Kensington Blvd., Slidell, Louisiana, 70458. Visitation will be from 10:00-10:30AM. A reception will follow in the café.
