Obituary of Gary G. Waltman
Gary G. Waltman, Sr., age 74, of Diamondhead, passed away on April 6, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rand Waltman and Mary Cospelich Waltman; a sister, Phyllis Hover; and his brothers Joe Cospelich and Harold Waltman.
Survivors include his children, Tina Landes, Vel Duclos, Karen (Alvin) Flowers, and a son, Gary (Brooke) Waltman, Jr.; his siblings, Carolyn Brewer, Marian "Bucky" Waltman, Polly Boswell, Sandra Boswell, George Waltman, Geraldine "Gerry" Waltman, Joseph "JP" Waltman, Terry Waltman and Dawn Lusich; 7 grandchildren, Bridgett Flowers Kittelson, Paden Duclos, Cpl Tyler Duclos, U.S. Marine Corps, PO2 Matthew Flowers, U.S. Navy, Blair Waltman, Haley Grace Waltman, and Ansley Waltman; 2 great-grandchildren, RaeLynn Flowers and Kellan Kittelson; and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Waltman was a retired pipefitter from UA Local 619 where he worked in nuclear power plants across the country. He was proud to be a member of the Vancleave Live Oak Choctaw Indian Tribe and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking.
A graveside service will be at 2 pm on Friday, April 19, 2019, in Bayou LaCroix Cemetery.
