Obituary of Berry Brock Lafferty

Berry Brock Lafferty, age 78, of Gulfport, passed away on February 1, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Helen Lafferty; his mother, Dorothy Hill; his father, Earl Lafferty; a sister, Deanna Renyer; and 3 brothers-in-law, Charles Sisk, Bob Renyer, and Bob Faber.

Survivors include 2 children, Tonia Miller (James), Gulfport, and Candy Dubuisson (Jerry), Pass Christian; 2 step-children, Susan Knab (Tom), Bethany, OK, and Brian Wallis, Mustang, Ok; 3 siblings, Karen Sisk, Broken Bow, OK, Jan Faber, Cambridge, KS, and Larry Lafferty (Grace), Raymour, MO; 9 grandchildren, Amanda McGuire (Trace), Jordyn Ladner (Tyler), Kerry Dubuisson (Sarah), Daniel Dubuisson, Cameron Dubuisson, Logan Dubuisson, Jessee Pearce, Mikala McColey, and Taylor Medcalf; 4 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Lafferty was a native of Wichita, KS and had recently been a resident of Gulfport.  He served in the U.S. Air Force and was self-employed as the owner of Pizza Royale in Broken Bow, OK.  He enjoyed ballroom dancing, NASCAR races, restoring old cars, and visiting the coast each year during Crusin the Coast.  He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Corvette Club in Oklahoma City, OK.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 11, 2019, from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi.  A graveside service will be at 11 am in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
