Obituary of Margaret Campbell
Margaret Carol Campbell, age 75, of Gulfport, passed away on December 5, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ed and Margaret Hart; her parent, Deacon Charles Walker; her aunts, Lillian Ruth Bolling, Pat Paull, and Genevieve Benevidias; her uncles, Thomas Joseph Walker, Jr., and Louis B. Walker; and a niece, Angela Hart.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, MSgt Billy R. Campbell, USAF, Ret; 2 sons, Richard V. Campbell (Tammi L.) and Sean F. Campbell (Amy) a brother, Thomas J. Hart (Elaine); her parent, Alda Walker; 8 grandchildren, Richard “Ricky” Campbell, II, Mason Campbell, Charci Campbell, Bryce Campbell, Preston Campbell, Madison Streetman, Owen Streetman, and Mallory Streetman; her cousins, Sylvia McNeil, Paulette Paull, Beth Davis; a niece, Pamela Pique; and other relatives and friends.
She graduated from St. John Catholic High School and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. She retired as the cafeteria manager at St. James Elementary School. Mrs. Campbell was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, from 10 – 11 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2414 17th Street, Gulfport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in the church. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o St. John Catholic Church.
