Zygmunt Slawinski

Zygmunt "Zig" Slawinski, age 71, of Long Beach, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019.

Zig was born in Detroit, Michigan, but moved to the coast in 2008. He enjoyed being at home, researching, reading and listening to music. He had a special place in his heart for his fur friend, Mitch.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Zygmunt and Leokadia Slawinski; his brother Joseph Slawinski.

He is survived by his wife, Eveline Slawinski; his children, Eric (Amanda) Slawinski, Dana (Kip) Bahr , Tara (Robert) Collins; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Bahr, Robert Collins, Gavin Slawinski, and Easton Collins; his siblings, Andrew Slawinski, Zenon (Karin) Slawinski, and Ursula (Joseph) Schneider; numerous nieces and nephews.
