Zola Cuevas

Zola Kay Cuevas, age 80, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Gulfport.

Mrs. Cuevas was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Cuevas; her parents, Dewey O’Neal and Myrtle Bond O’Neal; her son, Darryl Keith Cuevas; her grandson, Justin Cuevas; her great-grandson, Ashton Carroll; her brothers, Douglas O’Neal and Weldon O’Neal; and her sister, Odell Kilgore.

She is survived by her son, Kendall (Jamie) Cuevas of Perkinston; her daughter, Venessa (Luis) Centeno of Lizana; her 9 grandchildren, Katrina Compton, Randall Masters, Candance Cuevas, Katelyn (Austin) Wilson, Lorin Cuevas, Tyler Cuevas, Daryl Keith Cuevas, Jr., James (Ashlee) Earlywine, Jr. and Aaron (Payton) Yeager; her 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to join the Cuevas family for visitation and services on Thursday, September 2nd at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. with the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
