Yvonne Yeager

Yvonne Marie Bramlett Yeager, age 78, of Gulfport, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, in Gulfport. She was born to Alymer and Elsie Bramlett on July 11, 1933, in Baytown, Texas. She was reared in both Baytown and Gulfport.
Yvonne attended Gulfport High School and worked at the old Markham Hotel coffee shop while attending high school. She married the love of her life, Hubert Allen Yeager, Sr., on March 12, 1950, and moved to McClain, MS. They had 2 sons, Allen Yeager and the late Steven Harold Yeager.
Yvonne worked at Gibson's Department Store in Baytown and also helped her husband run meat markets and barbeque restaurants in Texas and Mississippi. She and her husband moved back to Gulfport in 1976 and they co-owned and operated Yeager's Meat Markets in Gulfport, retiring in 2000. She was an active member of Temple Baptist Church.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Alymer Bramlett and Elsie Bramlett Pittman, her brother, David Bramlett, and her younger son, Steven Harold Yeager.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Hubert Allen Yeager, Sr. of Gulfport, her son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Andrea Yeager of Long Beach, her granddaughter, Elyssa Mae Yeager of Pascagoula, daughter-in-law, Ann Yeager of Gulfport, her brother and his wife, Larry and Flora Reynolds of Cleveland, TX, and nieces, nephews, and cousins in Mississippi, Texas, Alabama, and Georgia.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 10 - 11 am with the funeral service to follow at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor G.S. Crane and Dr. Rene Freret officiating.
Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Garden Park Hospital in Gulfport and the staff of Canon Hospice in Gulfport for their loving care.
