Yvonne Spiers

Yvonne Garriga Spiers, age 85, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 in Gulfport, MS.

She retired from the garment factory and was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in White Cypress Community.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sidney and Eula Mae Moran Garriga, one brother Laverne Garriga, three sisters Earlyne Malley, Jeanette Garriga and Carolyn Reeves.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years Hollis E. Spiers, one sister Jean Cuevas (John L.), one son Audie Spiers (Judy), one daughter Yvette Necaise (Larry) three grandsons Chad Spiers (Courtney), Brent Necaise and Brandon Necaise and also survived by two great-grandchildren Camry Spiers and Cutter Spiers (her hearts).

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11:00 am from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux and the visitation will begin at 10:00 am at the church. Burial will follow in Necaise Crossing cemetery.
