Mr. Wilton Allen Marble, 64, of Gulfport passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 in Gulfport.
Mr. Marble served in the United States Air Force, he worked as a fireman in Gulfport and Pensacola, and he worked for Exxon as a Safety Director for the Southeastern Division.
He and his wife, Margaret, were devoted to each other for 45 wonderful years.
He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and reading his bible He was active on the ALS Forum, always encouraging and motivating others.
Mr. Marble was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Alice Marble.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Margaret Payne Marble; children, Wil Marble and wife Elise of Chattanooga, TN, Michael Marble and wife Tarina of Gulfport, Elisa Dasilva and husband Daniel of Gulfport, and Ben Marble and wife Lisa of Long Beach; siblings, Merita Blanchet of Pensacola, FL and Glenda Newsome of Navarre Beach, FL; siblings-in-law, Carol Tadej and husband Ron, Wayne Payne and wife Paula, and Willie Payne; 16 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, with visitation for family and friends starting at 11:00 am until service time, on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.
Burial will follow with military honors at Biloxi National Cemetery.
