Wilma Holzweissig

Wilma Faye Holzweissig, born August 2, 1936, passed January 19, 2022, at the age of 85.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Arthur Holzweissig. Survivors include 5 siblings, 5 children, Larry Schmermund Sr., David Schmermund, Jeffrey Schmermund Sr., Sandra Dobbs, Russell Schmermund & adopted daughter Jillian Schmermund, along with 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Lovingly known as Maw Maw Billie she provided a love that knew no bounds, strength that could not be measured, and always an open door to everyone who needed her. Maw Maw's legacy of perseverance will live on in all who came to know her.

A burial will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS, Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 11:00 am.
