Willis R. ""Well Digger"" Ladnier, age 81 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Saturday, August 7, 2010.
He was a devoted member and caretaker of the Long Beach Missionary Faithway Baptist Church.
Mr. Ladnier was preceded in death by his parents, Alton & Minnie Hammons Ladnier; his wife, Margaret Chiniche Ladnier and his son, Jimmy Ray Ladnier. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Ladnier, Wanda Tracy, Linda (James) Page, his sons, Timmie Ladnier and Danny Ladnier, David ""Buddy"" (Gwen) Ladnier and Marion Lee Ellison, Jr.; his sisters, Annie Pearl Lizana and Janice Dubuisson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family members.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1 - 2 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Long Beach. A graveside service will be at 2 pm in Conn Cemetery.
