Willie Marie Shubert

Willie Marie Shubert, age 95, of Bay St. Louis, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Winnie Dawsey; first husband, Joseph C. Shubert, Sr; second husband, Welton Ladner; daughter, Susan Rubio; brother, Delmar Dawsey; sisters, Mary Buccola, Dot Mitchell, and Edith Dillard; and one great-great-grandchild, Calian Lancaster. 

Willie is survived by her children, Joseph C. Shubert, Jr, Juanita Shubert, son-in-law, Keith Rubio, Sr; siblings, Donald Edward Dawsey and Lindal Dawsey; grandchildren, Nikki Tingstrom, Candice Shubert, Johnny Rubio, Travis Rubio, and Amanda Turner; great-grandchildren, Brandon Tingstrom, Grant Tingstrom IV, Chasity Maldanado, Alisha Lancaster, Leah Rubio, Lucas Rubio, Emmarie Turner, Aden Sando, and Lane Rubio; her great-great-grandchildren, McKenna Tingstrom, Lakynn Tingstrom, Bradley Tingstrom, Charlie Smith, Joselynn Brown, and Izellah Brown; also left to cherish her memory are, Wesley Dawsey, and Doris Hoffpavir. 

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 20, 2024, beginning at 12:00 PM at Riemann Family Funeral Home 141 US-90, Waveland, MS 39576. The service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Bayou La Croix Cemetery, Bay St. Louis.
