Willie J. Lepine, Sr., age 68, of Waveland, MS, passed away on July 12, 2018, at 3:25 pm, surrounded by those who loved and cherished him.
Willie was born in Algiers, LA to Joseph Lepine and Rita Mazerac Lepine. He married Patricia Elenora Sauerwin on April 22, 1967. He worked as a Certified Diesel Mechanic for almost 35 years. His passion was restoring antique cars. He was referred to by his clients as "Dr. D".
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Lepine; his mother, Rita Lepine; and a brother, Louis Charles Lepine, Sr.
Willie is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia E. Lepine; a son, Willie (Cheryl) Lepine, Jr.; his daughters, Peggy (Kirby) Boudreaux, and Penny (Cliff) Chatman; his grandchildren, Ashley (Wade) Stringer, Scott Riley, Felicia (Eric) Lynch, Cassie Riley, Ashley (Nathan) Mallett, and Megan and CJ Chatman; ten great grandchildren; his brothers, Joseph J. Lepine, Jr., David P. Lepine, and Michael J. Lepine; and a sister, Lisa Wattigney.
A private family celebration will be held.
