William "Bill" Jones

William Henry “Bill” Jones, age 69 of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022.

After Bill’s military service in the US Air Force, he started his own business doing property ownership/management.  He was a master carpenter who would have a vision of a project, construct it, and not only have a piece of carpentry that would be functional, but become a piece of art itself. Bill also took on handyman services, such as replacing light bulbs for senior ladies, and then take the time to sit and have coffee with them.  According to Bill, this was never a chore, but a pleasure.

A special thank you to all the caregivers at Greenbriar Nursing Center and Canon Hospice for their kindness and care during a very difficult time.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, followed by the Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date..
