William "Bill" Thoda

William ""Bill"" H. Thoda, age 78 and a resident of Biloxi for the past 18 years, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, in Gulfport.
Mr. Thoda served in the U.S. Navy Reserves for 5 years. He retired from Cargill Soy Bean Plant as a purchasing agent after many years of service, and was a member of Coalville United Methodist Church in Biloxi. Mr. Thoda was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Thoda is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred, Sr. & Eleanor Thoda; his sons, David and Matthew Thoda; his brother, Alfred L. Thoda, Jr. and his sister, Juli Record.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Thoda of Biloxi; his son, Mark (Donna) Thoda of Saulsbury, TN; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. at Coalville United Methodist Church. Interment was held at Forest Hill East Cemetery in Memphis, TN.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Coalville United Methodist Church, 12298 Shorecrest Road, Biloxi, MS 39532.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
