William Bill F. Taylor

William """"Bill"""" F. Taylor, Jr., age 70, of Diamondhead, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Taylor was born in Clinton, Illinois and had lived in Diamondhead for the past 20 years. He received an engineering degree from the University of Texas in 1961. He enjoyed a 31 year career with NASA working at Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama, NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and ultimately retiring as the Associate Director from Stennis Space Center in 1994.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Franklin and Nellie Taylor of Taylorville, Illinois.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Patricia; and three sons, Scott (Kim) Taylor, John (Sally) Taylor, and William """"Frank"""" (Debbie) Taylor III. Mr. Taylor deeply loved his two grandchildren, Katelyn and Will, and his step-granddaughter, Mallory and her son, Allen.
A Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2008 at the Diamondhead Community Church. Interment will be at a later date in Clinton, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests either donations to the building fund of the Diamondhead Community Church or to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangments by the Kiln DeLisle Road Chapel of RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME. The guestbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
