William Henry "Bill" Suhs

William ""Bill"" Henry Suhs, 85, of Waveland, MS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Diamondhead, MS.
Bill was born September 20, 1929 in Blue Island, IL where he lived for 40 years, married his wife Norma, and raised his children in his childhood home. He was a veteran of the Naval Reserves and U.S. Air Force. After his military service he started his 30+ year career with AT&T. Bill & Norma spent the last 17 years of their retirement in Waveland, MS surrounded by his family and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Norma Jessen Suhs, his parents, Henry & Louisa Suhs, his brothers, Carl, Alfred, & Roberts Suhs, and his sister Gertrude Suhs Weiss.
He is survived by his children, Steven (Jill) Suhs of West Chicago, IL, Mark (Debra) Suhs of Hopedale, IL, Richard (Robin) Suhs of New Lenox, IL and Cindy (Jeff) Eberhart of Waveland, MS and grandchildren Nicholas Suhs, Robert Eberhart, Thomas Eberhart, and Daniel Eberhart.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach with a visitation for family and friends from 10:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
