William Dwight Starrett, age 68 of Gulfport, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 in Poplarville.
Mr. Starrett worked at Keesler Air Force Base as a Barber for 37 years. He was a dedicated supporter of the Gulfport High School Admirals sports program. Dwight was a devoted longtime member at Bayou View Baptist Church where he was an usher for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Billy" Starrett, Dorothy Wilson Starrett and brother, Robin Starrett.
He is survived by numerous cousins, friends, and longtime devoted family friend, June Schloegel.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Bayou View Baptist Church, 4709 Chamberlain Ave, Gulfport. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at the church.
RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport is serving the family.
