William Monroe "Beav" Stafford Jr., age 54, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in Huntsville, AL.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Gray.
Bill Jr. "Beav" is survived by his father, William Stafford Sr. and his step-mother, Betty Trammel Stafford of Gulfport; his sisters, Donna Stafford Meyer, Candy Newman, and Robin Gray; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Balius of Biloxi, Calvin and Irene Stafford of California, R.L. and Gloria Stafford of Gulfport, and Gladys and Johnny McCardle of Long Beach.
He was a graduate of Harrison Central High School Class of 1981 and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Billy was employed at the Athletic Center, NASA Test Site in Huntsville for the past 25 years and was well thought of by all the employees and his employer. He was a fan of all sports, especially football.
Bill Jr's memory was amazing, even in his childhood days. He was a fan of all sports, especially football and could remember sports dates of events and players dating long ago.
One of his many favorite first cousins was Amy McCardle Rishel. Beavs last words were "I will miss Amy's birthday." May our son now rest in peace.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
