William Jerry ""Bill"" Schonewitz, age 63, of Saucier, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014.
Mr. Schonewitz enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Isabelle Schonewitz; brother, Oscar Schonewitz; and sister, Stella Ann Schonewitz.
He is survived by his children, Tim Schonewitz (Emily) of Brooklyn, and Jason Schonewitz of Brooklyn; siblings, Annabelle Wescovich of Biloxi, Jacquelyn Puzz of Ocean Springs, Faye Woodcock of Hancock Co., Barbara Shavers of Saucier, Judy Johnson of Saucier, Vanessa Shavers of McHenry, August Schonewitz of Lizana, Rex Schonewitz of Saucier, and Perry Schonewitz of Saucier; grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Jayden, and Kaitlynn Schonewitz; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 6-9pm.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, in the funeral home chapel at 11am. Burial will follow at Saucier Cemetery.
