William Rybka

William M. """"Pop-Pop"""" Rybka, age 73, of Biloxi, MS died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in Gulfport.
Mr. Rybka was a native of Baltimore, MD, and a Korean War veteran, serving with the US Navy. He played baseball for the Navy and in the minor and major leagues with the Chicago White Sox. He retired from the City of Baltimore after 30 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather--a great family man.
Mr. Rybka is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret J. Rybka, and parents, William and Frances Rybka.
He is survived by his children, Anthony Sandroni and Linda Sandroni, both of Biloxi, brother: Ted Rybka; and sisters: Dorothy Coppolino and Joan Franklin; grandchildren: Adam, Vincent, and Roman Sandroni; and great-granddaughter: Elanina Sandroni.
Friends are invited to visit July 7, 2008, 10am until the Celebration of Life Service at 11:45am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Biloxi. Interment with military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
