William Hoyt Price

William Hoyt Price, age 75, of Gulfport, passed away on January 19, 2012 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Maudie Price; his first wife, Martha R. Price; his second wife, Janice Price; one brother; and three sisters.
He is survived by his two sons, Richard H. Price and William ""Brian"" Price, both of Gulfport; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Byrd of Gulfport.
He was a member of Gateway United Methodist Church, Gulfport, where he served in many leadership positions. He retired from the U.S. Army as Sergeant First Class after 22 years of service. He served two tours in the Vietnam War and earned the Bronze Star. He was the former owner of W.H. Price Pest Control.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 9:30 AM at the Gateway United Methodist Church, Gulfport, with a visitation beginning at 8:30 AM. Burial with full military honors will follow at 11:00 AM at Biloxi National Cemetery.
