William Leroy Powell

Dr. William Powell, long time Bay St Louis Chiropractor, aged 62, passed quietly to eternal life early Wednesday morning at his home in Kiln, with his wife and family at his bedside.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Haydn Powell.
Survivors include his mother Beverly from Salem, MO; his wife Debra of Kiln; sons, William Jr. wife Trinity of Kiln; their children Will, Ellie and Trent; son Matthew and wife Kayla of Bay St Louis; their children Matthew Jr. and Fisher; brother Dr. Haydn Powell, Jr. and wife Rose from Salem MO; sister Kay Revelle, Linn Creek MO; sister Cheryl Lough, Salem, MO, and sister Jeanne Trimmer and husband Marc, Scottsdale AZ. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, friends and many long time devoted patients.
Bill loved all things in nature. He loved working in his gardens and with his beloved horses. He was an avid fisherman who loved spending time on the water. His greatest joy was his family, and his happiest times were spent with his sons and their families. He was a quiet, private and gentle man who will be sorely missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church, 5370 Kiln DeLisle Rd, Kiln, MS. A visitation will be on Friday, May 8, 2015 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd. Pass Christian at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A burial will follow the service at Bayou CoCo Cemetery.
