William F. Pierce, 84, of Perkinston, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017, on his birthday.
Mr. Pierce graduated from Lyman High School then entered in the military, where he retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force, having served in Vietnam and Korea. He then worked and retired from Civil Service at Keesler Air Force Base.
Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by his infant son, George Randall Pierce; his parents, George A. Pierce and Rose Smith Pierce; and his brothers, Carl and James Pierce.
Survivors include his friend and companion, June Stewart; his 3 children, Deborah R. Thomas, Judy Lynn Garrett and William F.T. Pierce; his 3 siblings, Betty L. Rogers, Levi E. Pierce and Ernest Pierce; his 5 grandchildren; and his dog, Duke.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the care and compassion given by Kare-In-Home Hospice.
