William Joseph "Billy Joe" Lizana, Sr., age 78 of Ocean Springs, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Anthony and Idumea Richards Lizana, Sr.
Billy Joe is survived by his children, William J. Lizana, Jr. (Tina), Chuck Lizana (Noel), Jeanette Lizana Stone, Lori Lizana Ingram (Jason), Anthony Joseph Lizana (Stephanie), and Rachel Lizana Guagliardo; his brother, Carl Anthony Lizana, Jr.; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
He enjoyed life to the fullest! He was a loving and devoted father, and cherished his kids and grandkids with all of his heart. He considered himself truly blessed by God to have experienced a happy and adventurous life. He will be genuinely missed by all that knew and loved him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 18, 2019, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Gulfport, with a visitation for family and friends from 9:00 AM until the mass. Interment will follow at Evergreen Gardens, Gulfport.
