William """"Steven"""" King a native of Jackson, MI, who resided in Mobile, AL, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2007 at a local hospital.
He will be cherished in memory by his daughter, Meghan Griffin of Santa Rosa CA, his fiance' Diane Lunceford and her daughters, Amy (Daniel) Driskoll and Rachel Lunceford of Mobile, AL and a host of friends.
He was adopted at birth and lovingly remembered by his devoted family; two sisters, Angela (Bob) Huckaby of Lake in the Hills, IL, Athena Lawrence of Pompano Beach FL; stepmother; Barbara King of Jackson, MI; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William """"Bill"""" King, his mother, Anna L. Brooks, brother, Jeffery King.
One of his greatest joys was being united later in life with his birth family, he will be lovingly remembered by his father; Donald Hudson, stepmother, Beth Hudson of Gibralter, MI; sisters, Amii O'Reilly of Bolingbrook, IL, Christine Scherrer of Fox Lake, IL; brothers, Shawn Hudson of Augusta, GA, Bryan Hudson of San Diego, CA and Erin Hudson of Orlando, FL; paternal great-grandmother, Della May King Hudson of Jackson, MI, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Born and raised in Jackson, MI, Steve attended Vandercook Lake High School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and worked in the home security business. Steve had a big heart, he loved to sing and dance and had a great knack for making us all laugh.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 10:30am at THE RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, MS, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
