William Ollie Killebrew

William Ollie Killebrew, 93, of Biloxi, MS went to his heavenly home on Monday, July 9, 2012.
Mr. Killebrew was born October 4, 1918 to William and Martha Burrell Killebrew in Ebenezer, MS. He loved his God, his family, and his country. Mr. Killebrew retired from the United States Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant after 31 years of service. He is a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a long-time deacon in the Southern Baptist Church and was instrumental in establishing churches in Utah, Hawaii, and Minnesota. Mr. Killebrew was a Freemason and achieved the 31st degree of Scottish Rite Masonry. He was a passionate supporter of the Saints, the Braves, and the Republican Party. He was a good husband, a loving father, and will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, Robert, James, Albert, Elvin, Douglas, Lester and Marty, one sister, Elnora Kitchens and his beloved wife of 60 years, Loree Simpson Killebrew.
Mr. Killebrew is survived by three sons, Nolan Craig Killebrew and wife Soo of El Paso, TX, Ronald Wayne Killebrew and wife Hwa Cha of Seoul, Korea, and William Murray Killebrew of Biloxi; one daughter, Gloria Ann Phillips and husband, Richie of Hoover, AL; one sister Wilma Gnemi of Ebenezer, MS; six grandchildren Susan Killebrew, Nathanial Killebrew, Ron Killebrew, Loree Killebrew, Cade Phillips, and Blake Phillips; nurturing family, Richard and Charlotte Killebrew of Gautier, MS and very special family friends Faye and James Taylor of Biloxi.
Visitation will be from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2012 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 1560 Popps Ferry Road, Biloxi, MS 39532.
