William H. Henson, age 88, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Henson was born in Booneville, MS and was a long-time resident of Biloxi (Latimer Community). After graduating from High School, he earned his Associates Degree in Computer Electronics. He then served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1976, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He was the owner and operator of J & B Satellite, retiring after many years.
He was an avid builder. He served as the Board President with the West Jackson County Utility Authority, and he served as a Deacon of Ocean Springs Church of Christ.
Preceding him in death was his father, Harvey Henson; his mother, Mildred Henson; and his sister, Jenny Martin. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Jane E. Henson; his three children, Larry Henson (Jackie) of Biloxi, Janice Fitzgerald (Donald) of Biloxi, and Brian Henson (Lana) of Holly Springs, MS; his three siblings, Martha Caldwell (Allen) of Booneville, Margie Ramsey of Booneville, and Ricky Henson (Tiffany) of McKinney, TX; his three grandchildren, Christopher Godard (Casey) of Gulfport, MS, Jason Godard (Krystal) of Gulfport, and Mikayla Jacobs (Ben) of Kansas City; and his six great-grandchildren, Addison Godard, Brennen Godard, Liam Godard, Graham Godard, Braxton Godard and Avery Godard.
Friends are invited to join the family for services on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. A funeral procession will leave at 1:30 p.m. from Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., at Washington Ave., West Jackson County. There will be a Graveside Service at 2:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors rendered by the U.S. Air Force.
