Mr. William """"Billy"""" Forrest Elmore, Jr., age 62, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010.
Mr. Elmore was proud of his photography work and reporting, having worked at the SunHerald years ago. He worked as a police officer for the City of Gulfport at one time and worked as a supervisor for a construction company in Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William F. Elmore, Sr. and Beatrice Rushing Elmore; and an infant sibling.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Arsenault of Boothbay, ME; cousins, Wesley Rushing of Houma, LA, Jack Upchurch of Gulfport, and other family in Laurel and Atlanta, GA, and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2010, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, at 10 am. Friends may visit one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at 1 pm in Laurel at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org.
