William received numerous awards and commendations during his service.
Bill loved being outside working in his yard.  But when all the work was done, he loved spending time traveling with his family and his wife of 61 years.  He also loved watching his beloved Philadelphia Phillies play ball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George M. and Helen A. Day; and his siblings, Gertrude M. Day, George H. Day, Sterling S. Day, Milton B. Day, Lillian A. Day, Mildred A. Day, Florence H. Day, and Louis A. Day.
Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Glenda M. Day; his children, Michael W. Day, Steven P. Day (Elizabeth), Julie A. Day, and David G. Day (Robin); and his grandchildren, Christopher Day, Michelle Varty (Brian), Matthew Day, Patrick Day, Ashlyn Allen (Ethan), Jordan Day, and Jacob Day.
He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a friend to many.  No amount of worked could ever sum up the value of his life.  He will be forever in our hearts.
