William A. Cook, age 90, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Summerfield Assisted Living in Gulfport.
Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his wife, Roswitha Cook; his daughter, Sonya Hyde; and his sons, Gary Cook and William Cook. Survivors include his loving family: John R. Cook (Beth), Hannah Stephenson (Chris), Nicole Hastie (Antoine), Tyler Cook and Stephen Goren; multiple great grandchildren; and special friend, Joe Aflague.
Mr. Cook was born in Andalusia, Alabama and was a long-time resident of Biloxi, until his stay at Summerfield Assisted Living. Thank you to the Summerfield staff for your compassion and patience in taking care of “Mr. Bill.”
He served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He loved restoring corvettes, Cruising the Coast, building dirt bikes for his wife and kids to race.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, Mr. Bill will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
