William Baggett

William Calvin Monroe Baggett, Jr., (Bill) born December 2, 1927 in Foxworth, MS passed away on August 3, 2007 at his home in Winder, GA.
Mr. Baggett was a retired minister with the Methodist church and had served as a chaplain in the Army. He attended Mississippi Southern College, Asbury College, and graduated from Emory University with a degree in Theology.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel Roberta Wood Baggett and William Calvin Monroe Baggett, 4 sisters, Lois Winnefred Baggett, Virginia Clair Baggett Wactor, Aubrey Faye Baggett, and Ethel Roberta Baggett Wynn, and one brother, John Austin Baggett.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy, 3 children and their spouses, Deborah and Bob Jarvis, Cindy and Mike Riemann, and William Calvin Monroe (Sonny), III and Margaret Baggett, 2 step-children, Melisa Sanders and Steven Sanders, 2 sisters, Frances Zumbro and Lavonia Harthcock, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church, Meadville, MS. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Midway Cemetery, Meadville, MS
