William (Bill) A. Bacon, 62, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, William A. Bacon.
He is survived by his loving FianceÌe, Pamela G. Dill; Mother, Carolee Bacon Davis; sons, Will Bacon, III (Heather) and Andrew M. Bacon; grandchildren, Kaya, Mina, Nick, Andrew, Jr., and Elizabeth
Bill was born September 11, 1951 in Jackson, MS and attended school at Sewanee Military Academy. He graduated from Eastern Illinois College. Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force, and retired as Joint Instructor at the 336th Training Squadron, Global Command and Control System at Keesler Air Force Base.
After retiring, Bill enjoyed traveling, playing golf, fishing and hunting with family and friends. He was a member of the Gulf Coast Pistol & Rifle Club.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Allison Wall, Dr. Ed Davidson, and the caring Third floor staff of Gulfport Memorial Hospital.
Burial with United States Air Force honors will be scheduled at a later date.
