William Anglin

William “Bill” Thomas Anglin departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the age of 91 years old.

He was a retired Navy Veteran Chief Petty Officer. He loved fishing and watching old western movies on television. Bill was born in Jackson, Tennessee on January 2, 1931, to Joseph Newton Alexander Anglin and Cora Mae Smithson Anglin.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Faye Collins Anglin, and his parents Joseph Newton Alexander and Cora Mae Smithson Anglin.

He is survived by his five daughters, Linda Faye Roster (Mark), Wilma Sue Jeffers (Glenn), Tammy Rena Turner (Jim), Cindy Ann Alexander, and Mary Jane Hedrick (Richard); five grandchildren, Sean Anthony Edwards, Jessica Ryan Edwards, Benjamin Thomas Turner, James Ray Turner, Jr., and Matthew Caleb Alexander; and five great grandchildren, Chlarissa Krause, Chandler Edwards, Caleb Turner, Adelyn Turner, and Asher Turner.

William “Bill” Anglin, you were an outstanding father, and you will be missed by your five daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. You always had a way to make us all laugh.
