William Copeland

William Andrew “Andy” Copeland age 65, a native of Austin, TX and long-time resident of Long Beach, MS., passed away on November 8, 2020 in Gulfport, MS.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil M. and Frances W. Copeland.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Tina D. Copeland; his son Christopher A. Copeland of Gulfport, MS; and his daughter, Catherine J. Copeland of New Orleans, LA; his siblings, Bonnie Copeland Cuevas of Gulfport, MS, Anita Copeland Hale of Crossville, TN., Marshall Copeland of San Antonio, TX., and Joseph Copeland of McHenry, MS; and a host of relatives and dear friends.

Andy was a graduate of Gulfport High School. He had been employed through his life with Gulf Coast Fabrication, Halter Marine and Ingal’s Shipyard in Pascagoula, MS.

He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, cooking and most of all spending time with his family.

Andy will be greatly missed and often thought of by his wife, children and family, as they are thinking of him and hoping his spirit is now on Ship Island. We Love You, Andy.
