Willet Whiting, 79, a life-long resident of Gulfport, died Thursday, January 17, 2008 in Gulfport. Mr. Whiting was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII and the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Nellie Whiting; and his sister, Marilyn Whiting. Survivors include his two sons, Mark Whiting and David Whiting; and granddaughter, Jennifer Whiting, all of Gulfport.
A Graveside Service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Biloxi National Cemetery. Arrangements by the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.
