Wilfred (Roger) Raistrick age 71 a resident of Manassas Park, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2007 in Biloxi.
Mr. Raistrick was born in Gulfport on January 4, 1936 and had been a resident of Virginia for the past 48 years. He was a retired salesman for the Wonder Bread Company after 38 years. He was a 45 year member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Virginia. """"He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.""""
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Mildred Raistrick; his mother, Frances Raistrick; two brothers, Albert N. and William Raistrick; a grandson, Donald (Bud) Raistrick Jr. and a great-granddaughter, Carly Raistrick. He is survived by three children, Roger D. Raistrick (Valerie) of Front Royal, Virginia; Donald W. Raistrick of Manassas Park, Virginia; and Lynette D. McCartney (Scott) of Front Royal, Virginia; a brother, Cecil Bilbo of Gulfport and two cousins of Gulfport, Archie Randall and Barbara Sellier; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service for Mr. Raistrick at the Pierce Funeral Home in Manassas Park, Virginia at a later date.
