Wesson "Matt" Mathew Burge, II

Wesson Mathew "Matt" Burge II, age 51 of Gulfport, Mississippi passed away Friday, May 11, 2024, in Starkville, Mississippi.

Matt was born on August 14, 1972, in Gulfport to the late Eileen and Wesson Mathew Burge. He attended Gulfport High school and grew up attending Grace Memorial Baptist Church. Later in life, he attended Fernwood Baptist Church. He was employed in the interior and exterior building supply industry. He loved hunting, racing, fishing, working on cars, and was a general car enthusiast.

Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Keri M. Burge; children, Trinity Burge (Alex Walker) Wes Burge III, Katie Burge; stepchildren, Kaci Misun (Chris) and Dawson Campbell; sister, Hannah Burge; grandchildren, Parker and Cassian Misun; and aunt, Connie Bounds (Al).

Visitation will be from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm with Ray Duplessie officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
