Wesley """"Wes"""" E. Roberts, age 61 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Saturday, May 3, 2008 in Biloxi.
Mr. Roberts served in the U.S. Navy with two tours of duty in Vietnam. He had been a resident of Gulfport since 1966, and retired after 35 years of service with Cable One as a design engineer. He enjoyed model railroads, boating, listening to music, and taking vacations.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Royce & Ruth Danforth Roberts.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his loving wife, Delma Margaret Chesney Roberts of Gulfport; his sons, Norman Roberts of Gulfport and Mitchell Roberts of Gautier and his brother, Danforth Roberts of Battle Creek, MI.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 from 6-8pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery. An online guestbook may be viewed and signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
