Mr. Wendell Larry Brown, age 75, resident of Lizana, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mr. Brown was born in Winding Gulf, WV, and was a Coast resident since 1980. He was an accountant, working for Gulf Coast Community Action Agency and Sawyer Motors. He enjoyed gardening, especially raising roses. He also enjoyed watching hummingbirds in the garden. He loved his Lord, Jesus. He will be missed dearly by his loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aden and Pearl Brown; son, Daniel Gabriel Brown; daughter, Cindy McElroy; sisters, Helen Brown and Fern Brown; brother, Clyde Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Smith Brown of Lizana; children, Larry Raymond Brown of CO, David Noah Brown of Lizana, Heather Melissa Morton (Jacob) of Lizana; granddaughter, Hannah Meaghan Morton; brother, Paul Brown of Jacksonville Beach, FL.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2008, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
