Wayne Robert Wooley, age 72, passed away at home on Sunday, November 28, 2010.
He was a native of Concord, New Hampshire and lived on the Gulf Coast since 1997. Wayne was an avid golfer, puzzleteir, artist, member of the Southern Miss Gulf Coast Chorale, and was a devoted husband, father & grandfather.
Mr. Wooley is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Sharon Mae Coates; a sister, Marlene Joan Miller; and brother-in-law, Kenneth R. Miller.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Janet; son, Robert J. Wooley (Jennifer) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; daughter, Colleen Holbrook of Pittsburg, Kansas; son-in-law Tadd Coates of Lago Vista, Texas; brother, James B. Wooley (Debbie) of Hampton Beach, New Hampshire; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several beloved nieces & nephews; and special great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Memorial will be held at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Biloxi, with visitation beginning at 9:30. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Camellia Ministries Charitable Foundation, P.O. Box 1267, Hattiesburg, MS 39403.
