Mr. Wayne F. Arnold, Sr., age 76, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010.
Mr. Arnold was born in Wheeling, WV to Henry C. and Burley K. Johnson Arnold. After high school, Mr. Arnold joined the U.S. Navy. After 11 years of service to his country, he moved to Clinton, MA, where he worked for IT&T Wire and Cable Company for 33 years. After retirement, he moved with his wife to the Coast.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Faye Lester Arnold, and his parents.
He is survived by his children, Wayne Arnold, Jr. (Barbara) of Pass Christian, Joseph Arnold (Jackie) of Gulfport, and Deborah Blette (Joseph, Sr.) of Clinton, MA; brother, Douglas Arnold of Ohio; and grandchildren, Joseph Blette, Michael Blette, Christopher Blette, Amanda M. Arnold, Dee Brewer, Jay Spell, Caitlyn Spell, Lexi Spell, Joey Blette, and Jacob Bussier.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, at 3:30 p.m. Friends may visit one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Gardens.
