Warren Anthony Reso

Warren Anthony Reso was called home on January 26, 2024 at the age of 80.  

Warren was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Marilyn Blappert Reso; and is survived by his 5 children, Warren Reso, Jr., Edwin Reso, Cheri Gobel, James Reso (Sara), and Robert Reso.  He was also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Warren was born and raised in New Orleans, LA.  He was a resident of Pass Christian & Diamondhead, MS for the past 40 years.   

Warren served as a deputy in the Jefferson Parish Police Department for 7 years, and then returned back to data processing where he finished his career at Halter Marine as a Data Processing Manager.  Warren was a devout Catholic, who lived a life of service to others.  He never met a stranger and enjoyed helping others, as evident by he and Marilyn being given the title of “adoptive Grandparents” to many children.    He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pass Christian, where he was a member of the choir and assisted in funeral planning and directing.  Warren was a true Christian if every aspect of life, especially in his role as a devoted husband and father, and will be missed by his family and a multitude of friends.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Saturday, Feb 10^th from 9 - 11 AM at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian, MS.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM and a repast will be in the Parish Hall immediately following mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
