Warren Anderson

d. December 5, 2018

Warren Everett "Andy" Anderson, age 97 of Diamondhead, passed away on December 5, 2018.  He was a native of Minneapolis, MN.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle Hinton Anderson; his daughter, Mary Ann Bilowich; and his son in law, Michael Bilowich.
Andy is survived by his granddaughter, Kristina Canossa Burns and her husband, Tim Burns; and his brother, Bob Anderson.
He served in the US Air Force as a Meteorologist during World War II, and retired as a Lt. Colonel.  After retirement, Andy owned a Real Estate Company called Realty Mart.
Andy was a very accomplished writer. He would write many letters to the editor of the Sun Herald, and they were published quite frequently.  He loved to dance and in his younger years, taught dance at Arthur Murray Dance Studio.  Another passion was traveling around the world.  He enjoyed reading and playing scrabble up until the last week of his life.
Words from Kristina:  "I loved his sense of humor and he always had a positive outlook on life.  He would make the best of things, and always had a good joke to tell.  I learned to look for the best in life, to laugh, and stay positive.  He had a very genrous heart."
"A Day without laughter is a day wasted." Charlie Chaplin
