James """"Jamie"""" V. Warden, age 46, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, after a long battle with cancer.
Mr. Warden spent his career surveying. He enjoyed working at Brown and Mitchell Engineering, almost 10 years, where he was Chief Surveyor. Mr. Warden loved shooting pool. He attended Grace Chapel Church where Reverend Doug Reid was his pastor.
Mr. Warden is preceded in death by his father, Voncrell """"Mutt"""" Warden.
Survivors include his mother, Sylvia Ruth Warden; his children, Justin Heath Warden, of Gulfport, and Bryce Dominic Warden, of Long Beach; his sister Sylvia Diane Necaise and her husband Butch, of Gulfport; his aunts, Joanne Wooten, of Paris, AR; Linda Schluterman, of Ft. Smith, AR; his uncle, Jim Ming, of Prescott, AZ; and his companion, Sharon Nicaise, of Gulfport; his niece, Rachel Necaise; his great niece, Felicity Bass; and his great nephew, Chase Bass.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Chapel Church, with visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at First Free Church of God Cemetery in Gulfport.
