Wanda Matheny

Wanda Ann Mitchell Matheny, age 59, of Saucier, passed away on April 12, 2019 in Saucier, MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Dole Mitchell, Sr. and Mary Louvenia Delancey Mitchell; Annie Marie Mitchell Spikes; and two infant siblings.
She is survived by husband of 42 years, Benny C. Matheny;  her son, Dustin Glenn Matheny (Julia); daughter, Crystal LeAnna Matheny Cook (Michael); brothers, John D. Mitchell, Jr. (Effie), George Mitchell, Sr., David L. Harkey (Barbara), Michael L. Harkey, and Dennis Spikes; sister, Donna M. Harkey Busby (Darryl); four grandsons, Johnathon Glenn Matheny, Jacob Benjamin Cook, Tyler Case Cook, and Christian Michael Cook; and her step-father, Edward "Ed" Harkey.
Her greatest achievements in life are her family. In her free time, she enjoyed wood crafts, gardening, music, and sports. She was Christian and belonged to the Baptist faith.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Saucier 24253 Church Ave. Saucier, MS.
