Vladimir Theodore Fucich of Ponchatoula, LA, died on Saturday, April 17, 2010, in his home after a long battle with cancer. Born in New Orleans on November 23, 1926, to Victoria Jean Yarborough and Vladimir T. Fucich, Sr.,
Val was an elder in the Ponchatoula congregation of JehovahaÌ‚â‚â„¢s Witnesses for the past eight years.
Surviving family members include his wife, Shirline D. Fucich, his daughters, Cheryl Johnston and Jeannine Farue; his son, Kevin Fucich; and his brother, Kenny Fucich, Sr., and his family.
A memorial service for Val will be held at the Kingdom Hall of JehovahaÌ‚â‚â„¢s Witnesses on Veterans Hwy in Ponchatoula on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road in Pass Christian, MS, assisted the family with funeral arrangements. For more information, please call (228)586-0510.
