Vivian ""Bibby"" Close Tate, 85, of Pass Christian, formerly of Alexandria, LA, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin L. and Vivian K. Close; sister, Kathryn Huguet; brother, Martin L. Close, Jr.; brother in law, James Huguet; and sister in laws, Elizabeth Close and Dolores Close.
Survivors include her husband, George T. Tate, PhD.; only child, Vivian K. Tate Rehor; son in law, Michael Rehor; grandchildren, Brett Haynes Hilbert, Avery Kathryn Hilbert, and Sara Macayle Rehor; and nephews, Martin Huguet, James Huguet, and Martin L. Close, III.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm, with a reception immediately following. These services will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach, MS.
Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Pineville, LA after services in Alexandria directed by Kramer Funeral Home.
