Vivian Jones Stevens, age 78, of Long Beach, died Thursday, July 8, 2010 in Slidell.
Mrs Stevens was a native of Hancock County and lived most of her life in Long Beach. She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, James N. Jones, and her parents, Purvis and Verina Deschamp.
Survivors include her husband, Luther Stevens, her children, Jimmy (Donna) Jones, Glen Jones, Janet (Jimmy) Craig, Candice (Ross) Santell, and Dwayne Jones; her siblings: Earline Hoda, Lillian Pierocich, Elaine Lizana, Lynell Hoda, Patsy Saucier, Judy Saucier, Curtis Deschamp, Lonnie Deschamp, Marion Hoda, Wade Deschamp, and Belinda Liles; 14 grandchildren, Jason, Blaine, Brandon, Justin, Ashlee, Katy, Jana, Jessica, Josh, Jill, Cole, Steven, Jonathan, and Carter; 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and members of the Stevens family from Louisiana.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 - 9 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church where friends may visit 1 hour before the mass.
Interment will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
