Vittie Creed, age 79 and a resident of McHenry, died on Thursday, August 17, 2006 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Creed was born in Lizana and was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She was a homemaker and loved dancing.
Mrs. Creed is preceded death by her parents, Ano Saucier & Nancy Gulliet Saucier Herrin; son, Ronald Creed; brother, John Herrin; sister, Iddle Williams and grandson, Lawrence Creed, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Vinilee Schallowitz, Robert Creed and Lawrence Creed all of Gulfport, James Creed, Larry Creed and Ann Webster all of North Carolina; sister, Lelia Eley of Gulfport, brother, """"Big Boy"""" Saucier; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 3:30pm at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Inc., Three Rivers Road Chapel in Gulfport where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. An online guestbook may be signed at www.gulfcoastfh.com.
